This is going to be a somewhat triumphant post, with a bittersweet twist, like a victory – but at what cost?

Well, I’ve just finished my first film score! Well I say just finished; I finished writing it over a month ago, but we only just finished mixing the bloody thing and now it’s all over. I shall let you beautiful, beautiful people know whats what and when, when I have been fully informed on where this feature film may appear and how. Until then, should any of you find yourselves at Cannes Film Festival, you’ll be able to catch a screening on the following dates:

This victory however is bittersweet, as whilst celebrating with a slap-happy clack-a-thon on my upright bass, an area of the lower bout collapsed around the end pin. I was distraught as you can imagine. So its piano for me until this big cheap pink thing is summoned once more from beyond the grave. Ho hum.

All things live, living and Bullfrog related are lying low for the next couple of months until after I get hitched, after which a normal service will resume.

In other news I am scoring a short film for a 48 hour film competition this weekend which should be a giggle. Oh, and I am now drinking again – huzzah!
